Beautiful vintage 40's bias cut black nightgown. An inset peaked empire waist frames the gathered cups which are toped with 2 1/4" openwork silk lace. Surplice back. Inset godet at hemline to give flare. There are a few tiny pinholes at the godet and some picks at the thigh area, overall light wear but sill in good condition. Small area of repair at seam under bust. No labels.
