Awesome vintage late 40s Gantner Coldfire 'Glo Suit' of Gantron Fabric, part nylon, part lastex, size 36. Gantner patented the process of adding luminescence to the fabric making their suits glow in the sunlight. You can look up the patent number on the suit to see images and information about the process. I have written a supporting blog post on this here, it's fascinating. This suit is bright neon acid green and definitely captures the attention. There are drawstrings hidden in the side seams of the bottoms which can be adjusted to either a high or low waist. Elastic band on side of waistband. There is a similar drawstring between the bust cups. The suit bottoms are lined in the front. The top is fully lined at the bust and has a single button on each end of the halter strap so it could be worn strapless if desired. The top ties in the back. Gathering at the side of bust and between bust gives the shape.This swimsuit is in near mint shape. A couple of very very light spots on the front of the bottoms, very hard to see. Fabric has 4 way stretch.
