Vintage late 50s early 60s Alix of Miami Turquoise Embroidered Swimsuit. Lovely vintage Alix of Miami cotton swimsuit has an embroidered border at the bustline which carries over to the shoulder straps. There is coordinating embroidery on the balance of the suit. Swimsuit has a skirted panel that is gathered to one side with elaticized leg openings under the skirt panel. The bustline has triple darts extending up from the V style seam on the bodice. Shoulder straps are adjustable with buttons at the back. Cups are formed with an elasticized band under cups. Swimsuit is completely lined. The waist is piped the back closes with a metal zipper and the back sides are shirred with elastic to give a form hugging fit. There is some discoloration on the gusset lining, does not show on the outside. In very good condition, no other issues. Small size label is not legible. This suit fits large on my mannequin, suit is not pinned to mannequin.
