Vintage 40's Gem of The Ocean Trapunto Stitched Stretch Satin Swimsuit Bathing Suit B34-36. Absolutely drop dead gorgeous light celedon color swimsuit from Gem of the Ocean. Fabric has two way stretch. No fiber content tags on this. Check out the wave pattern trapunto stitch on the modesty panel and side hip area. The pattern is repeated along the little fold down panel at the top of the bust line. You can wear this folded down or up. A cord extends from between the bust and ties around the neck halter style. Back metal zipper closure with a single button at top. The bust, front and gusset are lined. The leg openings are elasticized. Swimsuit is in very good condition. Small hole in the lining of the bust and a few popped stitches at the top of the back seam.
