Vintage 40's sweet satin 2 piece skirted swimsuit bathing suit, size XS-S. White colored swimsuit has a pastel floral design on the skirt and top. The bottoms have a scalloped ruffled edge to the skirt with a knit liner underneath and boy cut leg openings. The bottoms button in back with three buttons. Top has a matching ruffle at top edge with gathering at center bust, a halter style neck tie and back bodice tie. Bust is lined in a knit cotton matching the bottoms. No manufacturer labels. The satin fabric has no stretch, the knit under bloomers do have stretch in the knit. There are some spots on the waistband that really blend in with the design, otherwise swimsuit is in excellent vintage condition.
