Vintage 1940s Canary Yellow Sea Goddess Satin lastex 2 piece swimsuit bathing suit, size 32. High waist 2 piece swimsuit is made of a shiny satin type material with two way stretch. Most likely Satin lastex. Both pieces are lined, and no padding. Halter style top has a tie behind the neck and two buttons on the back strap. The bottoms have a skirted type flare with attached panties underneath. Elasticized leg openings and waistband. Back metal zipper with a button at the inner placket under zipper. Labeled Sea Goddess Original, Shepherd Knitting Co, Inc. Two small pinholes in the lining of the top, does not go through to outside material. Otherwise swimsuit is in excellent vintage condition.
